Efforts continue to get people who are considered high risk vaccinated. Multiple immunizations sites have popped up around the city, including one on the south side, at the WellMed Elvira Cisneros Senior Community Center.
This effort was put on by Dist. 4 Councilwoman Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia, Dist. 3 Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran and Dist.7 Ana Sandoval.
Fox News Midday was able to catch up with Dr. Rocha Garcia, she said this is the only site where qualified residents can register by calling 1-833-968-1745.
If that number is busy, Dr. Rocha Garcia says to keep calling. Vaccinations will be distributed every week.
