SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio City Councilwoman for District 4, Councilwoman Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia, would like to clarify her position that was represented on a recent news report regarding her potential vote on the police contract.
Regarding the negotiations between the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Police Officers’ Association, Councilwoman Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia clarified, “Should the current negotiations between the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Police Officers’ Association result in an agreement between both parties prior to the May 1st election, I intend to vote to ratify such an agreement.”
Councilwoman Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia is completing her first term on the San Antonio City Council and is currently running for re-election on the May ballot. Her candidacy has been endorsed by the San Antonio Firefighters Association, the San Antonio AFL-CIO, and the San Antonio Board of Realtors.
