About Dr. Adriana
Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia was born on the west side of San Antonio and has been raised in Southwest San Antonio since the age of three. As a lifelong San Antonian, she has a deep love and respect for the residents who have shaped the city she proudly calls home. Adriana is the daughter of Mexican immigrants who taught her the importance of a strong work ethic from an early age. Growing up surrounded by hard-working San Antonians, she understands the challenges residents face in providing for themselves and their families.
As a first-generation college graduate and marketing professor, she values the transformative power of education. Adriana, like many other San Antonians, desires better opportunities for her family, friends, and neighbors. As a single mother, she relates to the struggles of those who work multiple jobs, serve as caregivers, and have a passion for helping others. With three terms as the Councilwoman for District 4, she has a proven track record of assisting residents and developing policies that address some of the most pressing issues impacting our city. She remains committed to ensuring that local government is accessible, transparent, inclusive, and accountable.
Fiscal responsibility and public stewardship are the cornerstones of her work as an elected official. Adriana envisions a future where families across San Antonio feel safe, empowered, and have access to opportunities to thrive. Together, we can make that vision a reality.
